I support YOU so you can bond with your baby

Over the course of my life, I have found myself aligning with ideas that led me on a path of discovery on how I can support others in unconventional ways. In those moments of learning, I unsurprisingly found myself in the sphere of birth. Here, I discovered the importance of a mother’s ability to bond with her baby, while supported by individuals who love and honor her.

Placing an emphasis on birth and motherhood helped me tie together all the ways we can move forward as healthy, healed and loving people. It was clear to me that the best way I could live out this belief was to support women in the postpartum period. But, I found that the services typically offered in this role do not fully align with what I had in mind.

I believe that women already know how to take care of their babies better than anyone. It is usually the juggling of responsibilities and not having enough support that can make this time challenging. My solution was to become the opportunity for women to start off their motherhood journey fully resourced, supported, but more importantly trusted as the one who knows her baby best.

Out of all the ways I could describe myself, it always seems to come down to my desire to be a true, genuine friend to those that I love. I understand that as women, we all show and need love in unique ways. In my role as your postpartum support, I believe that understanding is more important than ever. Whether you need a friend to talk to, someone to bring you a meal, or just a quiet and calm presence, I believe this is the way we can change the world, one mother at a time.
